In our opinion, Tony Halstead is THE natural horn expert.  Unbelievable player who tells me he doesn't need valves.  Most horn players know all of this already, of course.  The Webb-Halstead horns are not, as we understand it, currently in production.  That means it's a bit rare for a used one to pop up.

*** Tony's written me, has informed me that the horn was based on an original by Franz Stohr (1800 - 1876) of Prague.  It is, so I've learned a "Classical hand horn", with crooks that are interchangeable.  That means not a fixed mouthpipe.

***Our instrument was produced in 1998 and appears to have been played very little in the past three decades.  No major dents to be found, a couple of tiny dings and that's it.  The horn is a good "9.9 on a scale of ten".

***  Lots of crooks on this one!  G / F / Eb / D / high B / short one for high C.  Plus four couplers, marked 1 / 2 / 3 / 4.

*** This gorgeous jewel is available for immediate shipment. That means "today"

*** NOTE PLEASE: THIS HORN IS PRICED WITH WITH WITH HEAVY WOOD BOX /  CASE.
