Vintage Step-Up John Juzek 15.5" Viola 1950s? with Case and Bow
Good "step-up" viola from the John Juzek workshops (Czech Republik), made in the 1950's or a bit later. Two-piece back of narrow figure maple, the table of medium grain spruce. The instrument bears the label of the maker as well as a repair label of Walter Lantz of Wichita, KS. Similar in description to the model 120R and the model IR of the E.H. Roth workshop in Germany. Back length is 15.5" inches, 388mm.
Comes with Krutz bow, Protec Max case and rosin.
