Vintage Flot-A-Tone S-4 Stereophonic 2x12" Combo Amp
No SR#, made in Milwaukee, WI. We believe this amp was made in the 1960s.
Very rare and unique Flot-A-Tone in the shop. No two amps they made were the same, and this one is no exception. Flot-A-Tone was an amp manufacturer in business from the late 1940s to mid-1960s, and originally made amps for accordions, although they work very well for guitar as well. G.E. Smith of the Saturday Night Live band and Ry Cooder have been known for playing them.
This one has a Jensen P12P Alnico speaker paired with a Jensen F12N field coil speaker. *Owner said the amp has been re-capped.
In good original condition, nearly fully functional except for the "Right Hand" Tone control for the Stereo Acc. Channel which does not work currently. Also has a non-original handle that should be replaced. Other than that it sounds killer! Great vintage tones. The vibrato sounds incredible as well.
