William S. Haynes solid silver flute; serial #37,383 (1969).

French (open fingerhole) keywork to low B, in-line G, soldered tone-holes, extended key arms over the pad cups.

The instrument was constructed with .014 silver tube, soldered tone-holes.

Sounding length is 633 mm (A=440), the embouchure measures 10.0  X 12.2 giving the instrument a wonderful tone color, "traditional Haynes".

Total weight is 429 grams. All pads and corks were new (from our shop) several years ago, the flute played only a few times since. The original case is in good condition. With original Haynes case-cover.

Still in production, retail price is now a bit over $15,000. Our flute is 100% made in America.

Recommended for the adult amateur or a discriminating musician who appreciates the wonderful voice of a Golden Age Haynes.
