Vintage 1967 Selmer-Paris "Series 10" Professional Bb Clarinet; serial #V1102
 
This is a very clean Golden Era Selmer-Paris clarinet with beautiful nickel plated keywork. The same model of clarinet as used by Tony Gigliotti, former principal clarinet of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
 
Absolutely no cracks to the wood,the tenons are sharp and without wear. All new pads and corks from our shop in Wichita.
 
An excellent series 10 from the late 1960's!

***Although we have sold new Buffet and Selmer clarinets for more than seven decades, it is our opinion that vintage French instruments are superior to the newer models. Simply said, the wood quality is better on the older instruments. And as we often tell clients, "If a wood clarinet is going to develop cracks, it will do so within the first several months of its life. Conversely, if it's more than a year old and has not cracked, there's a good chance it never will.
