Vintage 1950s Silvertone Model 692 Archtop Acoustic Guitar - Blonde
#158H692 in the soundhole, made in USA.
Handsome vintage Silvertone Archtop made by Harmony in the 1950s! Has a spruce top and maple back and sides, with rosewood fingerboard. Also features tortoiseshell binding on the body and white fingerboard binding. Very nice mother-of-pearl inlays as well. This one was based on the Harmony Monterey Model H1457 Archtop.
According to the owner, this one has had a full refret, new tuners, custom-made bridge, and has been refinished with French polish. Has some minor dings and scratches throughout but no major damage. In great shape overall for a guitar this old.
Plays very well with medium-low action. We measure 3 mm low E 12th fret and 2 mm high E 12th fret. *Bridge is currently as low as it will go, and there's no truss rod in this guitar.
No bag or case.
