*** Long story... This beauty was traded to us for a new Alexander,several months ago. But for some unknown reason, it had a 6D brass bell on it. No idea why. It took more than three months to get a new Eastlake 8D Conn bell and we've just done a touch up and new finish to the new bell.
The plays very well, typical "Elkhart" 8D or maybe a little brighter. Original rotors are surprisingly good, no not need a replate any time in the next 25 years.
No dents or dings, good example that's half Elkhart and half Eastlake. BUT.... TRY IT and you'll agree that it's a very good horn!
