This is a good American flute from the Gemeinhardt workshop (Elkhart), "Brio" model. Basically a Gemeinhardt 33SB (solid silver head, body and foot, with silver plated keys). Extruded tone-holes, French (open) keywork, offset G, B foot, with hand-made sterling head section by Dana Sheridan (Boston). Serial #B3-OSSB/1652. Plays very well, suitable for the advanced student or adult amateur.
